$1/pictureYou can submit photos already scanned on disc or send via e-mail to touchingtheheartdvd@comcast.net (if large photos, please send separate e-mails with 5 to 10 pictures per e-mail). There may be a minimal fee if I need to crop most of the pictures.
For the price, you will receive 2 DVD copies of the video, your picture files on disc (only if I scanned them, not if you sent them in computer format), and the computer format "movie file" on disc (you can make your own DVDs from this file if you are able, or just put on your computer and watch on your computer).
MUSIC
You may submit your own music that you own for use in the video, or let me know what songs you would like to use and I can purchase them for you, if available (no extra charge).
If you do not know what songs you would like to use, you can let me help pick them out. It helps if you can give some information about the person you are celebrating, their favorite artists, their hobbies, favorite activities, things they loved, etc, which will help me come up with choices that will better celebrate their life.
PICTURES
The videos have approximately 11 pictures per minute, something to keep in mind when choosing the number of photos you are going to use.
It makes for a better video if you include photos spanning the whole person's life, trying to include photos with different people throughout their life, including photos of them doing things they loved - whatever best represents the person you are celebrating.
Although you can make the video any length you would like, a comfortable range for a memorial sevice is between 8 and 12 minutes long, which would be anywhere between 88 and 132 pictures. I can shorten or lengthen the time the pictures appear on the screen, so the minutes/number of pictures I have mentioned is just a guide to go by, it does not have to be exact, and you can submit more photos and have a longer video (I have done longer ones successfully).
SAMPLE PRICE
12-minute video (that would be approximately 3 songs, depending on length of the songs) with no scanning of pictures would be $170. If you had 130 pictures and had me scan them, that would be a total of $300 for the video.
